Falko Thormeier
In 2015, he was appointed President of the Management Board of G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA Sp. z o.o.
He began his professional career at Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG AG). Currently, at VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH, he serves as the Manager for VNG’s business in Poland.
Since 2009 he has been the President of the Management Board of HANDEN Sp. z o.o. He holds a degree in business (Diplomkaufmann) from Universität Leipzig.
Lilla Grzelińska
Since November 2022, she has served as a Member of the Management Board for both Handen and G.EN GAZ ENERGIA Sp. z o.o. At the latter company, where she has been employed since 2006 she leads the financial department.
She holds an MBA from Europäische Wirtschafts- und Verwaltungsakademie EAP Berlin and a degree from the University of Szczecin, Faculty of Economics.
Jacek Kwiatkowski
In 2023, he was appointed to the Management Board of G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA Sp. z o.o. He served on the Management Board of Handen Sp. z o.o. from 2005 to 2018 and was a representative of VNG AG in Poland from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, he was the President of the Management Board of RWE Gas Polska Sp. z o.o. from 1995 to 2000. Holds a Ph.D. in Economics from SGH.
Our History
Over the 33 years of our company’s history, we have gained experience, carried out multiple investment projects and have significantly developed our activity, becoming a leader among private natural gas companies in Poland.
2023
In 2023, the company G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA was divided into two entities:
- G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA Sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw, engaged in gas fuel sales.
- G.EN. Operator Sp. z o.o. based in Tarnowo Podgórne, engaged in the distribution of gas fuels.
2009
In 2009, VNG Polska Sp. z o.o. was established, as a partner in G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA company.
2007
100% of the shares in the share capital of Gaz Technologia i Energia Sp. z o.o. (GTiE) based in Szczecin were acquired. Six months later, a merger took place, and the rights and obligations of GTiE were taken over by G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA.
2006
G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA acquired the rights and obligations of ZUG LOKGAZ
2005
The company relocated its headquarters to Poznań. the company operated under the new name – G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA.
VNG became the 100% shareholder in G.EN.
G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA acquired 100% of the shares in the equity capital of Zakład Usług Gazowniczych LOKGAZ Sp. z o.o. (ZUG LOKGAZ), based in Kaźmierz.”
2001
VNG – Erdgascommerz GmbH (VNG) acquired a 30% stake in PETRICO S.A
1999
PETRICO Sp. z o.o. was converted into a joint-stock company. Continuous development expanded its area of operations to include additional cities and municipalities in the Lower Silesian and Greater Poland Voivodeships
1991
The history of G.EN. GAZ ENERGIA began in Karlino, where in 1991 PETRICO company was established that specialized in the sale and distribution of natural gas

We offer remote contract signing. All formalities are handled electronically.
For customers covered by tariff protection, including households and housing cooperatives, we sell gas fuel at prices regulated by the Energy Regulatory Office.
Gas for business
We offer the sale of gas fuel for heating and production purposes for small, medium, and large businesses.
We serve industries such as food, hospitality, construction, heating, pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, industrial, service, and many others.
For customers with a contract capacity above 110 kWh/h, we prepare individual offers based on consumption profiles.

Our overriding mission is providing a sustainable, reliable and secure supply of gas that meets the demands of our society. We are highly involved in a the social and sporting spheres, with a focus on our home region in Poland.
We are a sponsor of the Tarnovia Basket sports club
We became a sponsor of the Tarnovia Basket Sports Club in 2016 to promote basketball among young people from Tarnowo Podgórne and the surrounding area.The Sports Club regularly trains 120 children aged 7 to 18, with 20 training sessions held each week. Each year, club members participate in 150 league matches and 10 tournaments across Poland.
We support sports in the Luzino municipality
In collaboration with the Kashubian Sports and Cultural Club and GOSRiT Luzino, we have become the main sponsor of the 1st league women's table tennis team and of football training and tournaments for at least 200 teenagers each year.
